Week beginning 24th February

We begin by welcoming our new Explorers: Lucy, Spencer, Arielle, Robin, Evelynn, Conrad and Estella

Spring has arrived at The Barn! The Explorers will be mixing up their favourite pastel colours, and their pictures will be displayed in the Explorers' room. The Discoverers will be looking closely at spring flowers, including primroses, daffodils, crocuses, and tulips. They will choose a flower and paint a picture to display on the walls in the Discoverers' room.

The Explorers' rhyme this week is I'm a little daisy and, in the Discoverers' room, the word of the week is sprouting.

The children will be making a community blossom tree inside and, outside in the garden, the mud kitchen is open for digging and mixing. The daffodils, planted by the children, are also beginning to show, with leaves, stems and hopefully a few flowers.
